Carroll Shelby returned the Terlingua Racing Team to its former glory when he brought the car back after 40 years to celebrate his racing successes with the livery in the 1960s. In 2008, Shelby American offered a special package for 2006 V6 Mustang owners to transform their cars into a Terlingua Performance Pac. Adding the optional Paxton Supercharger to the lightweight Shelby made this car a contender on the street.
